Attention Classy Ladies!
If you are reading this and haven't got a clue what a Classy Lady is then thank you so much for checking this out but politely buggar off now. If you want to comment on something go read my movie blog http://www.hesaidshesaidfm.blogspot.com. It is swell.
Everyone who is left can you do us a favour pretty please? James and I would like our big wedding in autumn (faaaallll) 2012 although we are flexible with when at the moment. People that we invite here in the UK are pretty much going to be able to work around any date because they won't be travelling thousands of miles like you guys.
With this in mind can you please think about where you might be in autumn 2012 and indicate what is best for you date-wise on the poll below. VERY IMPORTANT - considering we just used a crappy free generator PLEASE also write your answer in the comments in case the results don't work!
Don't stress - it is just to give us an idea so we aren't holding anyone to anything. If you say you are availbale one date and realise you aren't next month it really isn;t an issue. We just aren't 'up' on when is best for people who are at school so we need something to go on really! Oh we also won't be offended if you just don't want to come or decide you don't between now and the wedding :)
We look forward to seeing the results! H and J
(Disclaimer - we can't guarantee we can make it at the most popular time but we'll see what we can do. We'll probably set a date in the Spring some time we reckon)

to be honest for myself, all of those dates are kinda crap for my schedule. But sometime in the middle of the semester is probably best which is why I chose Early Oct. School starts in Early Sept and ends in Late Nov, so I wanted to avoid those times. I will work around it though if need be.
I am uncertain what I'll be doing Autumn 2012, but I'm hoping I'll have a stable job (and with that being the case, I would be able to take time off when you guys plan it and plan my work schedule around it). If life goes as I'm planning it, I'll likely work at a university, so I voted late November since there is usually a holiday break during that time, but in actuality, you should probably count me in as "I'll work around you," because again, I don't know what I'll doing and where I'll be fall 2012.
I have no idea where I'll be in the fall of 2012, so I'll plan on being there, and work everything else around that. :-)
It probably isn't the best idea for me to skip a lot of class in my senior year, but I know that from Oct 13-16 I have a 4-day weekend for Fall Break.
Late November is ill-advised for all of us, because travel always is more expensive around Thanksgiving.
I have no idea what I'm doing that far in advance. I'm saying I can work around whatever you come up with, as there's not going to be any especially convenient option. Upon giving it post-vote thought, I'd probably say October might be generally best for most folks and travel needs, as October is definitely no longer summer, and also not yet Thanksgiving. Hence, it incurs neither summer rates nor holiday rates. That said, what's most important is when is convenient for you guys, so don't pick a horribly inconvenient date just to make it cheaper/easier on the rest of us. Gotta make us prove how much we care! Feel the burn of awesome friendship! Raaaaaaaah! ...Okay, I don't know where this comment is going anymore. Probably a good time to stop typing.
I'm hoping by Fall 2012 I'll have a stable job in professional theatreland somewhere. I voted for late november 2012 because that is during American Thanksgiving. The holiday hasn't been much emphasized for our family, and I know that most theatres usually let employees go for Thanksgiving break. If it doesn't work...well...I'll work something out.
I chose late October. Early October is fine, too. If I am racing next year though, the best time is like the exact same dates Molly was suggesting.
To be honest, sometime in early august is the best for me. Just because it is before classes start and i wont have to worry about missing any tests or classes. Which late Nov, always have projects and things due that time (like for instance right now suuuckkksss) but i mean i want to be there so we will see.
I have absolutely no idea what I'll be doing in 2012 so I really any of the dates might or might not work for me. That being said I think it would be easier to travel in October so I'm going with that.
I really have no idea what I will be doing during fall of 2012. That will be my senior year of college, so it's kind of up in the air, especially if I'm doing study abroad during that time. (Then again, if I end up studying abroad in Europe, I might actually be closer to you! :))
I agree with Molly's reasoning of early October because most all schools get at least a 3 day weekend for Columbus Day off. Also, she's right, traveling during late November sucks for prices because of Thanksgiving here.
